Before you begin the application process, you must create an account for your organization. To create an account, visit our log-in page.
Below, please find the link to a tutorial that will help you navigate this step. Your organization will only be required to register once and thereafter will be able to access the system by logging-in with the password you’ve created. If you are with a large organization, you may create multiple accounts as long as you clearly designate the department that you are representing. (e.g. Tioga Opportunities-Family Planning or Broome County Council of Churches-CHOW)
The Racial Justice and Equity Fund: The Racial Justice and Equity Fund welcomes proposals from qualified non-profit 501c.3 organizations that seek to provide projects or programs that build community dialogue, increase the capacity of Black-led organizations supporting historically underserved communities, promote racial justice and equity, and counteract systemic racism, in the region served by the Foundation. New or established organizations, programs and projects serving Black, Indigenous and/or People of Color, are all invited to apply. The deadline for 2020 applications was November 15, 2020 with letters of intent due two weeks prior. 2021 guidelines and deadlines will be posted later in 2021.

New for 2021
The Community Grants Program: This program will award up to $100,000 twice a year, in the spring and fall. The process is competitive and the maximum award to an organization is $20,000. For 2021 we will use an expanded Letter of Intent (LOI.) The deadlines for submission of the LOI are Tuesday February 23, 2021 and Friday August 13, 2021 for the spring and fall grants cycles respectively. If invited to submit a full application, the deadlines for submission of a full application are Monday March 29, 2021 and Monday September 20, 2021.
2021 Arts Cycle Guidelines
Letters of intent are due Tuesday February 23, with full applications (if invited) due Monday March 29, 2021.
The Small Grants Program: This program is for organizations in our 5-county region requesting up to $5,000. Applications are considered 6 times per year. Applications are due by the 15th of January, March, May, July, September, and November.
There are two other funds that are considered through the Small Grants Program that have a specific focus and specific deadlines.
The Paul and Miriam Mattern Fund is only open to organizations serving Walton, NY. The application deadline for 2021 is May 17, 2021
The Community Foundation Library Fund grants to libraries in ALL 5 of our counties. The application deadline for 2021 is Monday March 24, 2021.
The Young Professional Advisory Committee Fund makes grants that will further the professional development of young professionals in the region. The application deadline for 2021 is open.
The Women’s Fund makes grants to organizations serving women and girls in our 5-county region. Proposals for 2021 are due Monday April 26, 2021 with inquiries due two weeks prior, Monday April 12, 2021

The Chobani Community Impact Fund
The Chobani Community Impact Fund accepts applications for proposals to establish projects and programs that strengthen the local economy, encourage local ownership, facilitate the development of new streams of financial resources, and support current or aspiring entrepreneurs.
